Yes, it's true, I now live in a place called Tooting. And you know what? I love it. Yes, I love Tooting. Tooting is great. Tooting is totally cool. Everyone is all about Tooting nowadays.
Alright alright, I digress. Tooting (teehee) is a part of South London located on the Northern line of the tube. It's a hip up-and-coming neighborhood full of cute brunch places, quirky bars and super-fit young moms who seem to have taken up permanent placements on the treadmills at my gym.
Still, Tooting isn't yet overrun by tourists and the like, so there are lots of hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. One such gem is Tooting Market. Located just around the corner from the Tooting Broadway tube station, this cluster of quirky shops has recently been rejuvenated and has seen the arrival of several hip new stalls. From a heavenly wine bar to a one-stop shop for all your nostalgic gaming needs, Tooting Market is a great place to spend an afternoon (you don't even have to worry if it's raining as the market is completely covered).
