Your glutes might be saying no, but your heart will be saying “Give me hot buttered rum or give me death!”
Okay, so maybe that's a bit extreme, but rest assured, the climb up to London's Queen of Hoxton rooftop is well worth the effort. As a self-confessed Christmas-nut I make sure to make the pilgrimage there every December to soak up some festive fun and eat my weight in toasted marshmallows. As soon as you enter the magical woodland setting, you can't help but want to scream "SANTA! I know him!"
Pull up a tree stump under the wigwam’s twinkling fairy lights and warm your insides with a tasty winter cocktail such as the Egg Snog (eggnog with a cheeky whiskey twist). Then stuff your face with some chicken schnitzel or pulled slow roast shoulder of lamb, and wash it all down with a Big Bad Buttered Rum
Once you’ve nestled into this cozy winter paradise, it’s likely that you’ll never want to leave. And you know what? That’s perfectly okay. Remember all those stairs you climbed earlier? You’ve clearly earned another round.
